Looking for a fantastic evening of music? The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut is renowned for its exceptional performances, and for one night only, on November 10, 2023 at 8:00 pm they will proudly present Ranky Tanky with Lisa Fischer for a powerhouse of a magical evening combining the talents of two dynamic Grammy-award winners, and Luxury Experience will be there, and we hope that you will be, too.

The Charleston, South Carolina based Ranky Tanky features Quentin Baxter on drums and percussion, Kevin Hamilton on bass, Quiana Parler as their vocalist, Clay Ross on guitar and vocals, and Charleton Singleton on trumpet and vocals. With 2 Grammys under their talented belt, including "Best Regional Roots Music Album: Live At The 2022 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival" Ranky Tanky has clearly made their mark on Gullah music.

The talentedMs. Lisa Fischerwas raised in the Fort Green section of Brooklyn, and the two-time Grammy winner has spent the past 40 years creating memorable music whether singing R&B, Rock, Jazz, or whatever comes next. Her storied musical career credits include singing background for the legendary Luther Vandross for two decades. When she released "So Intense," she earned her first R&B Performance Grammy for "How Can I Ease The Pain." Lisa toured with The Rolling Stones for their 1989 Steel Wheels Tour and spent the next 26 years with them, and she has performed with Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Nine Inch Nails, and others; this is a "condensed" version of her impressive and well-crafted music resume.
