Hamptons Handpoured
Founded by
Hamptons native Brittany Torres in 2015, Hamptons Handpoured has a wonderful
backstory on how she created her company. Speaking with Brittany, I learned
that when an illness kept her housebound, she took an essential oils class to learn
how they might help her. She then started making candles using the essential
oils for family and friends. As often happens when we make things with love and
care, the candles were beautiful and were well received. It was not long before
she had a few of her candles available for purchase in a retail shop in the
Hamptons. They quickly sold out, and soon she had candles in upscale shops
throughout the Hamptons. Her company has now expanded to a family business with
her mom helping Brittany to create these wonderful candles, and happily
Brittany is now in good health.
East Hampton
With candles
representing many of the towns in the Hamptons, each with their own unique
scents, you can truly bring home the experience of your favorite place in the
Hamptons with Brittany's inspired collection of Hamptons Handpoured candles.
Love East Hampton? The East Hampton candle has the special scent of
cashmere, fig, and strawberry. Is Southampton more your style? The Southampton
candle has the scent of cotton, gardenia, and white tea. The Bridgehampton candle
features a blend of lime, arugula, and honeysuckle, while Amagansett features
coriander and gardenia.

Bays features the scents of driftwood, lilac, and seabreeze, Sagaponack features
blue raspberry, cherry, and red wine, Watermill features the scents of
apple, ylang ylang, and white tea, and The End (Montauk) features
sandalwood and bergamot spice, and those are but a sampling of the delectably
scented candles in the extensive Hamptons Handpoured collection. Which candles
are my favorites? That would depend on my mood and the type of ambience I want
to create, although they all have wonderful scents.
