There were twenty-six tables featuring 151 outstanding wines and spirits for the tasting along with a raw bar with oysters from Big Rock Oyster, colossal shrimp from Gulf Shrimp Co., delectable charcuterie from Oui Charcuterie, and Hudson Valley Foie Gras to pair with them. Food Network’s Chopped Judge Chef Marc Murphy was the host, saxophonist David Davis provided the music, and we thoroughly enjoyed discovering new “favorites” as well as enjoying a few “old friends.” Cheers!

As there were so many wonderful wines and spirits to taste, and only two hours to do so, we decided to divide and conquer by each tasting different ones, then doubling back and referring each other to especially outstanding wines. While we could not taste all the wines and spirits offered, we did manage to compile a fabulous list of tastings and share some of the highlights with you.
