New York Botanical Garden - The Holiday Train Show - photo by Luxury Experience All aboard! We loved The Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden in Bronx, New York! The Enid A. Haupt Conservatory donned its holiday finery to transport visitors to the magical and enchanting world created by Paul Busse featuring more than 150 of iconic New York landmarks and model trains; outside, the gardens were resplendent with holiday decorated trees, and carolers to enchant and engage the festive spirit. The show runs until January 15, 2018.

Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol - Leech  signature image Everywhere you look in New York City, the holiday spirit abounds with shop windows lushly dressed in extravagant splendor, chestnut vendors selling their wares on street corners, holiday markets brimming with colorful gifts, skaters swirling on the ice rinks, and holiday shows to spark the imagination and fill the spirit with joy. We visited The Morgan Library & Museum to see their Charles Dickens and the Spirit of Christmas exhibition that runs through January 14, 2018 to get a jump start on the holiday season, and fell in love (again) with Charles Dickens and the most beloved of Christmas stories.
Spring Weekend in The Hamptons, Long Island, New York, USA
Flying Point Beach, Southampton, NY, USA Although The Hamptons are known for their summer season, the area is a fabulous year-round destination with much to offer visitors in all seasons, minus the crowds and the summer traffic. We stayed and explored the Southampton and Water Mill areas of The Hamptons and fell in love with our Spring stay.

We dined in lovely restaurants and on a dinner train, visited a museum, and even a castle. Picture postcard perfect Connecticut was an excellent choice for wining, dining, romancing, enjoying life, and each other!

The museum itself is a treasure, as is Miss Florence's Late Georgian style home, the lush gardens, the studios, and Café Flo where you can enjoy a meal overlooking the river after feasting your eyes on the art.

We drove to the Mount Washington Valley region to experience its foodie culture and were delightfully surprised by what we found.

Haupt Conservatory is a not-to-be-missed experience with its exceptional exhibition of thousands of orchids as well as special orchid programs. The 14th annual Orchid Show includes such complementary programs as World Beat: Music and Dance Around the World of Orchids on Saturdays and Sundays, Orchid Care Demonstrations, Orchid Evenings, films, and much more. The Orchid Show runs until April 17, 2016.

Ever since Sherman Haight Jr. planted the first grapes in 1973, the number has steadily grown and now comprises 30 vineyards and wineries. Luxury Experience swirled, sniffed, and deliciously tasted our way along the Connecticut Wine Trail.

Family Vacation Memories in Montreal, Canada
Old Montreal, Canada Growing up, summer meant vacations, and vacations meant quality family time, what my mother, Victoria V. Argen, calls, "creating memories." According to Luxury Experience Company President, Edward F. Nesta, "people travel for emotion, passion, and knowledge." Looking to combine these two philosophies, my teen nephew, Steven M. Argen, and I flew to Montréal, Canada for a family vacation where he had the opportunity to learn French as well as experience the many attractions and adventures of this enchanted city.
