While the wine, spirits, and food are always spectacular at The Sun Wine & Food Fest at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, foodies also go to the Grand Tasting for the celebrity chef culinary demonstrations. Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the Saturday, January 27, 2024, celebrity chefs included Chef Plum, Chad Rosenthal, Manouschka Guerrier, Michele Ragussis, Amanda Freitag, Marc Murphy, Michael Symon, Aarón Sanchez, Scott Conant, and Maneet Chauhan. It was a full afternoon of great wine, spirits, food tastings, and chef demonstrations. Cheers and Bon Appetit!
The Grand Tasting during The Sun, Wine & Food Fest was an extravaganza of culinary and beverage tasting opportunities, and we thoroughly enjoyed sampling our way through the many offerings. There was a variety of pre-made canned cocktails, hard seltzers, flavored seltzers, spiked coffees, spiked teas, as well as a diverse selection of craft beers, spirits, and an abundance of wines to sample. From everyday beverages to higher-priced ones, there was something delicious for everyone’s palate and budget.
