The female-founded Greenwich International Film Festival 2019 held in Greenwich, Connecticut from May 29 – June 2, 2019 consisted of five-days of amazing non-stop activity of 58 films screenings, Q&A, panels, and parties! Rodrigo y Gabriela, the internationally renowned instrumental acoustic guitar rock duo performed before a sold-out show at The Beacon Theatre in New York City, New York for a memorable evening of music. Hailing from Mexico City, Mexico, Rodrigo Sanchez’s and Gabriela Quintero’s music is a perfect blend of instrumental rock and flamenco nuevo. The World Premiere of Sleeping Beauty Dreams: Progressive Fantasy Show at The Beacon Theatre in New York City, New York was a stunning combination of contemporary dance, performance art, electronic music, and Real-Time Digital Avatar technology that captivated and enthralled the audience and featured global prima ballerina Diana Vishneva as The Princess and Marcelo Gomes as The Prince. The Westport Country Playhouse in Westport, Connecticut presented the world premiere of the dramatic play, Thousand Pines written by Matthew Greene, directed by Austin Pendleton, with a tremendously talented cast of Katie Aillon, Anne Bates, Joby Earle, Kelly McAndrew, William Ragsdale, and Andrew Veenstra. This powerfully impactful tour-de-force play is one that will resonate long after audiences have left the Westport Country Playhouse. Thousand Pines runs until November 17, 2018 at the Westport Country Playhouse.

Grammy-nominated Jazz vocalist Jane Montheit lit up the stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut with her gorgeous vocals and engaging storytelling. Deftly pulling Jazz standards spanning from her illustrious 20-year career, Jane Monheit connected with her audience from the opening song until the resounding standing ovation. Brava!
