We went to see the farcical play, Lend Me A Tenor at the Music Theatre of Connecticut in Norwalk on opening night, Saturday, November 5, 2022, and we have not stopped laughing! The Preservation Hall Jazz Band from New Orleans, Louisiana brought their legendary brand of jazz to the Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut for an evening of exceptional music and gaiety. Synonymous with the New Orleans music scene, for the past 60 years, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band has captured the unique sound of "The Big Easy" with its intoxicating music.

Created and performed by the talented team from Westchester Circus Arts, the legendary tale was told through holograms, aerialists, and acrobats, for a sensational, totally immersive experience. The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut delivered another exceptional, sensational, and unique cultural experience with nora chipaumire’s opera, Nehanda, "protest, legal gathering, world making." Performed in its entirety, the opera lasted just shy of 5 hours with the audience seated on stage for a most incredible and fantastic evening of exploration and learning. Bravo!

As oyster lovers, when we heard about theSeaport Association Oyster Festival presented by First County Bank in Norwalk, Connecticut, we knew that it was an event we wanted to attend.
