The Queen of Blues Rock Dana Fuchs took time to speak with Luxury Experience about her new release, Love Lives On, her own record label, Get Along Records, and life in general. Since her debut album in 2003, Dana Fuchs keeps on growing as an artist and always keeps audiences and listeners delightfully surprised.

Blues Rocker singer songwriter musician Ally Venable shows a maturity and talent beyond her nineteen years writing all of the music for her 10-track release, Ally Venable Band – Puppet Show released on the Connor Ray Music label. Joined by band members Elijah Owings on drums, and Bobby Wallace on bass, and special guests Gary Hoey, Lance Lopez, Eric Steckel, and Steve Krase, the release is outstanding and makes the Ally Venable Band one to watch.

Mike Zito – First Class Life released on the Ruf Records label is a masterful release for Blues singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Zito .Joined by Lewis Stephens, Matthew Johnson, Terry Dry, and Bernard Allison, the 11-track release showcases Mike Zito’s rich story telling lyrics, the talent of the musicians, and has enough chops to keep you repeatedly hitting the replay button. Dada Masilo’s reimagined version of Giselle was a brilliant triumph of a success at the Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Award-winning South African choreographer and dancer Dada Masilo and The Dance Factory gave a modern, contemporary dance twist to the classic ballet, resulting in a deeper, richer, more intense and powerful interpretation to the theme of love, betrayal, and the supernatural. We attended the Ecstatic Music Festival® presented by Kaufman Music Center, where we had the pleasure of experiencing two musical works, Clockworks & Songs of Mourning, the fourth in a series of nine programs. The works featured the avant-garde/modern Jazz and pop music of Patrick Zimmerli, Ethan Iverson, Chris Tordini, John Hollenbeck, Carla Kihledst and Jeremy Flower. The Ecstatic Music Festival® is a series of 9 concerts from January 27 until April 26, 2018.

The Moscow Festival Ballet in Giselle at the Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University "where creativity and culture come to life" in Fairfield, Connecticut was a spectacular evening of classic ballet. Giselle was first performed in 1841 by the Ballet de Théâtre de l’Académie de Musique, and the Moscow Festival Ballet provided a gorgeous, classic interpretation of one of ballet’s finest dances.

Every spring we eagerly look forward to attending The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden in Bronx, New York as a celebration of the season. For 2018, The Orchid Show, an annual tradition at the New York Botanical Garden for the past 16 years, features Belgian Floral Artist Daniel Ost, who has created spectacular large-scale installations that are a feast for the senses. The Orchid Show 2018 runs until April 22, 2018.
