Christian Petroni and Rocco DiSpirito
We attended Vintage Cru on Saturday, January 28, 2023, one of the many exciting events held during the multi-day Mohegan Sun – Sun Wine & Food Fest 2023, which celebrated its 19th year in 2023. A smaller, more intimate event, Vintage Cru attracted oenophiles, wine and spirits collectors, retail buyers, chefs, restauranteurs, as well as wine and spirits novices who were there to learn.
Over the course of two hours, guests had the opportunity to learn about, as well as taste, a selection of 145 wines and spirits presented by 26 wine and spirits companies. Wines ranged from moderately priced to exceptional at $200 to $360 per bottle, and one of the high-level spirits offered cost $530 per bottle, making the event truly spectacular and memorable.
Vintage Cru also provided patrons with the opportunity to speak with the winemakers and brand ambassadors about their wines and spirits on a more personal basis. Well-curated domestic wines were presented from California, Oregon, and Washington state, and international wines from Argentina, Chile, France, and Italy.

This was our second year attending the Mohegan Sun – Sun Wine & Food Fest, and the event just keeps getting bigger and better with age. Vintage Cru was truly a spectacular event offering some of "the best of the best" wines and spirits.
