I have stayed at some of the best luxury hotels and have experienced some of the top Spas throughout the world and one thing they all have in common is great robes. I was delighted when I "discovered" Thirsty®Towels and their diverse collection to bring the luxury resort and Spa experience home.
I like to wear luxurious bathrobes in the house as well as poolside after a swim at home and I fell in love with the attractive Thirsty®Towels belted Turkish Terry-Signature Robe,which has a medium weight and feels and looks gorgeous with its ivory piping detail along the shawl collar and the front edge of the robe and on the patch pockets. Great care and detail go into every step of the Thirsty®Towels product line and with its focus on luxury, my robe arrived in a sheer ivory fabric drawstring bag making it perfect for an anniversary or birthday gift, or as a gift for yourself. Even the label on the Pamoog brand is worth noting as it proudly proclaimed, "Made in Turkey with love, care & 100% cotton." While you might not be able to stay at a luxury hotel every night or visit a spa daily, you can wake up in your home and have the experience of wearing a beautiful and well-crafted robe.

Eco Robe – Mauve
Family owned and based in Allentown, Pennsylvania in the United States, they oversee all aspects of the business from customers placing orders, to the manufacturing and shipping process. Ethically made in Turkey, their website not only notes employment practices it also notes that, "the materials used while making the robes and towels we sell, have the backing of Oeko-Tex Standard 100 to ensure that every material that is used during the production is tested for harmful substances. Products with the Oeko-Tex Standard guarantee are tested and guaranteed to be free of all harmful substances, including toxins and irritants."
Cloud 9 Kids Line
Turkey is renowned for its olive oil, and the company has a line of natural olive oil soaps under their AlaTurca label that are, "hand made in Turkey by local artisans with love." The soaps are made from a recipe received from their grandmother who received it from her grandmother. The soaps are available in the following scents: Original (Unscented), Hammam, Green Tea, Sandal & Rose, and Eucalyptus.
TL Kids
I tried the 3.5-ounce Green Tea Soap that came in its ownbox with a label noting that the soap was filled with 2/3 Pure Olive Oil and the ingredients consisted of Pure Aegean Olive Oil, Water Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda), Sodium Chlorice (salt), Green Tea, and Essential Oil. Inside its box, the soap was wrapped in paper and sealed with a stylish AlaTurca seal making it seem like a little present to myself, another way to celebrate and enjoy life to its fullest each day. In a day and age when one questions what ingredients are in the products we use, I appreciated not only knowing what the ingredients were, but also being able to pronounce them; sometimes it is the little things that make a big impact.
