After a day spent seeing the sights of Moscow, Russia, the Kanebo International Beauty Center at the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski was the perfect finale to a wonderful day.
The Kanebo International Beauty Center located on the second floor of the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski is a full-service beauty center offering guests the opportunity to experience facials, body treatments, massages, and salon services. In other words, you can walk-in feeling tired and come out feeling refreshed and looking your very best from head to toe.
Edward F. Nesta and I stayed at the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski in November 2006, and after a day spent touring Moscow in the snow, we readily took advantage of their spa services and had classic massages to ease our jetlag and alleviate post-travel stiffness.
For sixty minutes, we luxuriated in the comfortable treatment rooms as our therapists Andrei and Natalie massaged our tight muscles with special Kanebo oils, while we listened to soothing music. When we left the massage tables, we felt relaxed, refreshed, and ready to enjoy a gastronomic dinner in the Restaurant Baltschug.

In addition to offering 60-minute classic body massages, the Kanebo International Beauty Center spa massage menu includes a 30-minute back massage, a 60-minute Lymphatic drainage massage, a 60-minute Anti-Cellulite treatment, a 60-minute Star massage (for relaxation), a 60-minute aromatherapy body massage, a 20-minute body polish, and a 120-minute Chakra stone massage.
They offer a selection of body treatments including: a 90-minute Firming and Toning Body Treatment to counter sagging and improve resilience; a 90-minute Stress Relief Body Treatment, a deeply moisturizing and balancing therapy designed especially for each client’s skin type; a 90-minute Slimming Body Treatment that is an anti-water retention program; a 75-minute Soft Skin Body Treatment using exfoliates and emulsions for a smooth finish; and a 30-minute Hand Treatment for zone-specific therapy for improved texture and more even skin tone.
Facials help turn back the hands of time, and their facial menu includes a 90-minute Advanced Anti-ageing Facial Treatment for Firming and Wrinkles, which is intensive therapy to prevent sagging and improve resilience; a 90-minute Advanced Anti-aging Luminizing Facial Treatment to counter dullness and discoloration; and a 90-minute Deluxe Anti-ageing Facial Treatment Sensai Beauty "Premier," which is an intensive therapy using a revolutionary technique to support the natural DNA repair functions. Facials are also wonderful stress relievers. Their stress relief facials include: a 90-minute Stress Relief Facial 
designed for each client’s skin type to deeply moisturize and balance the skin; and a 90-minute Purifying Facial Treatment for oil control and refinement designed for all ages and skin types. The Spa also offers luxury waxes, manicures, pedicures, as well as full salon services for women and gentlemen.
At the end of our treatments, we sat in the comfortable reception area, sipped cups of tea, and sighed with pleasure, the true sign of a great Spa experience.
