New Jersey where he took our palates on a fabulous "journey to Brazil"
without the need for a passport! Chef Ilson Gonçalves deftly captures the
flavors of his native Brazil at his gorgeous gluten-free restaurant,
SAMBA Montclair, so If a trip to Brazil is not on the immediate
horizon, you can still take your palate there by having lunch, dinner, or
weekend brunch at the restaurant.

Some restaurants keep getting better with age. Having recently dined at the upscale restaurant, 75 Main owned by Zack Erdem, in the beginning of March 2020, we can confidently state that they are one of them. The Southampton, New York restaurant opened in 2010 and back when most restaurants in the famed Hamptons were only open seasonally, the charismatic and pioneer visionary Zach Erdem kept his restaurant open year-round. An inviting, comfortably chic and contemporary ambience and an excellent and diverse menu created by Chef Mark Militello makes the restaurant a winner. |

Although the restaurant, which opened in August 2018, is a steakhouse, there are enough seafood items on the menu to appeal to both "surf" and "turf" appetites. |

Wildflowers the AAA-rated four diamond restaurant at The Lodge at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York is one that you can easily dine at over several evenings and still find one more item that you want to try. The most difficult part of dining there is selecting only one starter, one entrée, and one dessert each, and although difficult, we did manage, and it was a nice problem to have. Chef de Cuisine Dustin Tuthill is the talent in the kitchen, and his menu is inspired, creative, and most important, very tasty!
