Chef Sujan Sakar - USA Today Wine + Food - Brooklyn, NY - photo by Luxury Experience The USA Today Network Wine + Food Experience Brought to You by Martha Stewart held on September 7, 2019 at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York was a celebration of great wines from Vinsde Bordeaux and Martha Stewart Wine, Co. and wonderful food from top area New York restaurants and an upper New Jersey resort. We loved the experience of being outside on a beautiful sunny day in a pretty park eating delicious food from many "new-to-us" restaurants, drinking delectable wines, and making new friends. It was a perfect afternoon spent in Brooklyn in Prospect Park!

For the 2019 USA Today Network Wine and Food Experience there was a fabulously diverse selection of great restaurants as well as wines and spirits for attendees to sample and experience. We thoroughly enjoyed making our way around the Grand Tasting and sampling our way through the many and very tasty offerings.

In addition to a diverse selection of wines, spirits, beers, and food there were Celebrity Chef Culinary Demonstrations throughout the day and "Meet the Somm" where attendees could learn about wine from the talented sommeliers during classes and tastings.

There were fun experiences throughout the day including photo booths and a creative center where attendees could decorate wine bottles to take home. We applied our inner artists, and each decorated a wine bottle to bring home and had a lot of fun in the process.

In the VIP Lounge, Jeffrey Gardner of Watch Hill Oysters from Rhode Island, brought a "boat" of his tempting farm raised oysters, which we enjoyed sampling including a colossal size oyster, that he referred to as a "Jumbo Lumbo." Yes, it was huge, and it was also very delectable!
