Luxury Experience Team ready for a day of adventure

We arrived early morning at Nascente Azul on a beautiful blue-sky day on March 21, 2019 and after exploring their options for adventures, we wanted to do it all, so wedid! Together with Gilberto and Regina Sacilotti, we were ready for our first adventure of the day to begin!

Tirolesa Tower

Adventure 1: Experiencing their Tirolesa (zipline). Measuring 492 yards or 0.28 mile (450 meters) in length it is the longest zipline in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, and after donning helmets, we climbed the steps to the top of the Adventure Tower to enjoy a panoramic view before taking our turn to grab a ride. While the maximum speed is around 37 mph (60 km/h) it felt as if we were flying as we zipped over the trees shouting and whooping with glee. Ziplining at Nascente Azul was so easy and oh-so much fun, as we basically sat in a harness while gliding along enjoying the ride and the thrill of the speed with the wind whizzing by us before safely landing on a platform.

Adventure 2: Next on our list of adventures was experiencing their Multi-Adventure Water Circuit, where we went ziplining over their lake and dropped into the water to cool down. We also tested our balance and dexterity walking on the rope and plank bridges suspended over the water. We started out by walking on the widest plank bridge and then progressed to narrower and more challenging bridges. While Cirque du Soleil will not be recruiting any of us anytime soon, we had a fabulous time challenging ourselves and were proud of the fact that we did not lose our balance and fall into the water.

Adventure 3: After spending time resting and relaxing under the shade of a tree and enjoying a few snacks to fortify our energy it was time for us to head off on our final adventure of the day – snorkeling in their natural spring (Nascente Azul), however to do that we first had to trek to the top of the property reached by following our Nascente Azul Guide through a forest over a wooden walkway uphill past a stunning waterfall, where we stopped to admire the view as we made our way to the top.

Donning wetsuits, masks and snorkels provided by Nascente Azul we swam, snorkeled and free-dived to explore the crystal-clear water of the spring and observed the array of colorful fish below us, as well as taking time to appreciate the wildlife and natural beauty of our surroundings above water. It was a wonderful day experiencing nature and soaking up the sunshine while having the time of our lives at Nascente Azul.
