Formerly known as New York Wine Events, the NYC Spring Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, offered patrons the opportunity of attending either the afternoon or the evening session with special early entrance VIP options.

We opted to attend the VIP evening session, which provided us with early access to the event and also access to the "VIP Bubbly Bar." As fans of "bubbles" the champagne and sparkling wines were dear to our hearts and palates, and we enjoyed sampling the various expressions of champagne and sparkling wines offered.

Li-Lac Chocolates
Champagne and chocolates are a delicious combination especially when paired with Li-Lac Chocolates made in New York which is Manhattan’s oldest chocolate house. There was also a selection of artisanal cheeses and crusty bread from John Wm. Macy’s Family Bakery to pair with the champagne and sparkling wines.

Patrons had the opportunity to take their palates on a whirlwind wine trip by sampling wines presented from around the world and the United States. A few of the wines available for tasting included the following:

In addition to the VIP Bubbly Bar and the wine offerings, spirits were also well-represented, and we enjoyed sampling products that we had sampled before as well as sampling products that were new to us.

There was also an assortment of delectable artisanal foods to sample on their own, or to pair with the wine and spirits offered.
NYC Spring Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival was an enjoyable evening of discovering and tasting wine, spirits, and food, and engaging in stimulating conservation about the products.
