The holiday season was off to a “bubbly” start with the Asti Vibes Party held at Gary’s Loft in Manhattan on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, and Luxury Experience was on hand to celebrate and raise a glass (or two) to toast the holidays and to Asti Spumante, Italy’s first sparkling wine, and to Moscato d’Asti DOCG. Created in the Piedmont region, Asti Spumante DOCG as well as Moscato d’Asti DOCG celebrate Italian style, tradition, and winemaking technique. Flavorful sparkling and “fizzy” wines with extremely low alcohol, Asti Spumante DOCG has just 7% alcohol, and Moscato d’Asti DOCG has only 5% alcohol, making them holiday party perfect! With the holiday season upon us, Thanksgiving is around the corner, and Christmas and Hannukah are knocking on the door, it is the perfect time to start looking for wine inspiration to serve for holiday gatherings, and both Asti Spumante DOCG and Moscato d’Asti DOCG would be very welcome “guests.” While Asti Spumante DOCG is aromatic and sparkling, the fermentation for Moscato d’Asti DOCG stops when the alcohol content reaches 5%, making it a “fizzy” wine rather than a sparkling wine, however it is also aromatic and flavorful.

The Asti Vibes party showed the great versatility of both Asti Spumante DOCG and Moscato d’Asti DOCG, whether enjoyed on their own, or used as a main ingredient in creative wine cocktails. Over the course of the evening guests could enjoy glasses of Asti Spumante DOCG or Moscato d’Asti DOCG on their own, or experience the two inspired, tempting and very delicious cocktails, the Asti Signature made with Asti Spumante, and the Moscato Mule, made with Moscato d’Asti DOCG.
Minuto Bauli Filled Italian Dessert
Passed hors d’oeuvres and a table laden with charcuterie and a variety of Italian cheeses, showed the versatility of both Asti Spumante DOCG’s and Moscato d’Asti DOCG’s excellence in pairing with savory foods, as well as desserts, including a special minuto Bauli traditional filled Italian dessert as a tasty finish to the festive evening of celebrating Italian tradition with friends, and to send guests into the New York City night with a delicious and sweet taste of Italy.

Pink Grapefruit
Sichuan Pepper
Method: Pour Asti Spumante into a stemmed wine glass, add fresh basil leaves, a slice of pink grapefruit, and garnish with freshly ground Sichuan pepper.
Cocktail Time!
Moscato Mule Cocktail
Ingredients:
Moscato d’Asti DOCG
Ginger Beer
Angostura
Sour mix of lime, lemon, and bergamot
Rosemary
Method: Pour Moscato d’Asti DOCG into a stemmed wine glass, add the rest of the ingredients. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
