Product Information: Litchfield Distillery Vodka is made from locally grown corn from nearby Sharon, Connecticut, and is gluten-free. It is 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof), and each bottle proudly bears its handwritten bottle and batch numbers on the front of the bottle. Our bottle number was 992, signed JG, Batch 18. Litchfield Distillery Vodka retails for $29.95 for a 750 ml bottle. Presentation is everything, and Litchfield Distillery Vodka is presented in a beautifully designed tall bottle with a red label proudly bearing their logo of a batcher rolling a barrel and a red wax covered stopper; the product is a showstopper.
Bottle notes: "One day we looked around at our beautiful rolling hills and said, "Boy, wish we could bottle this." So we did. Our Batchers’ Vodka is distilled from luscious Connecticut corn grown during the beautiful summer months. Our small batch philosophy ensures you get an impeccably clean and smooth vodka worthy of any cocktail."
Tasting Notes: Made from sweet locally grown summer corn, the nose is sweet and aromatic. On the palate, there is a lovely hint of sweetness and a beautifully long and silky-smooth clean finish. This high-quality vodka is nice as a sipping vodka over ice and is also an admirable companion in cocktail and culinary recipes.
Luxury Experience was "In the kitchen and behind the bar®" creating some incredibly special handcrafted cocktail and culinary recipes to tempt your palate and inspire your own creations using Litchfield Distillery Vodka. As Litchfield Distillery makes their delectable vodka from locally grown corn, we went to the Saturday Greenwich Farmers’ Market to buy the freshest of sweet corn to use in our recipes.

Luxury Experience – A-Maize-Ing Martini
The inspiration for Luxury Experience – A-Maize-Ing Martini came from LD Vodka which is distilled from corn and from our weekly trip to the Saturday Greenwich Farmers’ Market where we purchased sweet corn. Sage pairs well with corn, so we created a homemade sage shrub to combine with the fresh corn juice and Litchfield Distillery Vodka to create a very special cocktail that pairs well with our culinary recipes. This cocktail would also be very nice to serve at a clam or lobster bake.
Note: Shrub is a vinegar-based solution that adds layers of flavors to cocktails and is a mixologist’s best friend.
