We took a whirlwind trip to Spain or rather took our palates on a trip to Spain without the necessity of a passport for Spain’s Great Match 2025 a professional showcase for the trade held in New York City at Mercado Little Spain, which deftly combined food and wine from Spain. It was an interesting and informative afternoon of tastings that culminated in an educational Masterclass: DO Jerez: The Land of Double Terroir presented by César Saldaña, President of CRDO Jerez & Manzanilla – Sanlúcar de Brarrameda. ¡Salud! y ¡Buen provecho!  

There is no better way to learn about a country, or a region, than by experiencing its food and wine. On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, we attended Spain’s Great Match 2025, Spain a land of taste, held at Mercado Little Spain located at 515 W. 30th Street in New York City for an afternoon of education and tastings. With over 50 exhibitors, there was much to experience and to appeal to diverse palates. We bring you some of the delectable highlights of “Spain a land of taste.”
