After a successful run on London’s West End, Jamie Allan’s AMAZE is now at the New World Stages (Stage 5) in Manhattan. We saw this astounding illusion show on Saturday, August 9, 2025, and we were utterly amazed! Bravo! Jamie Allan’s AMAZE runs at the New World Stage until November 2, 2025. We have always been fascinated by the great illusionists, and throughout the years we have traveled to see many of them perform live and have seen David Copperfield, Siegfried & Roy, Penn & Teller, Lance Burton, Melinda: The First Lady of Magic, and others, and after experiencing Jamie Allan’s AMAZE on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the New World Stage in New York, we are pleased to now add Jamie Allan to that impressive list of master illusionists.

What is especially interesting about Jamie Allan’s AMAZE show at the New World Stages (Stage 5) is that it is a smaller, more intimate venue that allows Jamie and the audience to have a more personal experience. Interspersed with his astounding illusions that will have you wondering how he could possibly have done that, Jamie engages the audience with his wonderful stories of growing up in England and how he became interested in the magic of illusions.

As children growing up we all had dreams, some of us may have wanted to be an astronaut, or a pilot, or a fireman or a policeman, or a race car driver, or a musician, or an artist, or an actor, however when Jamie was 5 years old, he received a magic box as a gift from his parents and that gift forever changed the course of his life. That magic box transported him to another world, to a world of possibilities and illusions, and as he learned how to do simple illusions, he became hungry to learn more and how to do more complex illusions.

So determined at mastering that magic box and being successful at creating illusions, by the time he was 8 years old, he had mastered enough illusions that he was performing regularly on the stage at his parents’ pub in England! Since then, he has dedicated his life and honed his craft to perfection, learning from other master illusionists and has himself become a master illusionist and storyteller that enchants, delights, and yes, amazes his audiences. We loved watching Jamie Allan perform and we look forward to seeing him perform again in the future.

Jamie Allan’s AMAZE Performance Schedule: Sundays: 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Mondays: 7:00 pm, Wednesdays: 7:00 pm, Thursdays: 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Fridays: 7:00 pm, and Saturdays: 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm. There are no performances on Tuesdays. Jame Allan’s AMAZE has a run time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, which includes one intermission. 

Know Before You Go: Flashing lights (strobe or flashing lights used), bright light used, haze and smoke used. Tickets are required for everyone regardless of age. (Lap seats are available for purchase at the box office for children 2 and under for $22).

Box Office Hours: Monday: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Wednesday: noon – 8:00 pm, Thursday: 10: 00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Saturday:10:00 am – 8:00 pm, and Sunday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
