For more than 30 years Designer David Shamouelian has known how to create a buzz for his collections, and for his Fall Winter 2018 Runway Show at Cipriani 42nd Street® he once again hit the bullseye. Taking inspiration from the 1970s and the Rock world, the collection featured floral prints, plaids, minis, and flowing granny dresses, updated for 2018.

On February 8, 2018, David Shamouelian sent triplet models Andrea, Arianna, and Athena Levesque together down the long runway making a powerful impact. The models wore black leather pants paired with a bell sleeve sheer black blouse embellished with silver studs, a black leather and floral print jacket paired with a midriff exposing blouse, and a red and black printed strapless top with above-the-elbow-to-the-wrist sleeves.

Other highlights included a red and black plaid fringed jacket paired with a graphic print black t-shirt and low riding black jeans, and a black below the hipjacket with double-belted sleeves and a wide fur collar. Animal prints still roar especially when paired with a high neck sheer black shoulder baring blouse with asymmetrical ruffle.

A green, orange, and black printed mini dress featured 2 layers of black ruffles paired with an army green parka with fur hood. Another trendy look was a cream nubby fur jacket with wide stand-up collar and wide cuffs paired with skinny jeans.

Plaids and midriff baring tops are prominent components of the Fall Winter 2018 Collection, evidenced by his tartan plaid pants, a black and royal blue plaid asymmetrical cut skirt paired with a black sheer lace top, and a below the hipred fur hooded jacket paired with low brown jeans and a midriff cropped brown plaid shirt.
