Designer Katya Leonovich Spring 2014 Womenswear Collection is feminine, flirty, with a sexy edge. Luxury Experience brings you a few of the highlights of her collection that we saw during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center in New York.
For Spring 2014, Russian Designer and Artist Katya Leonovich featured 24 looks in her womenswear collection of dresses, pants, poncho, vests, coats, corsets, skorts, tops, jackets, shorts, and tunics.

The collection is feminine with a flirtatious, sexy edge. She uses sensual fabrics for her designs incorporating silk, crinkled linen, crinkled silk, silk taffeta, chiffon, silk organdy, as well as leather, hand-printed fabrics which add a rich lushness, and pleating, ruffles, embroidery, and lacing details that add interest.
Katya uses a color palette of neutrals for her Spring 2014 collection interspersed with lilac, fuchsia, pink, rose, blues, and gold for the halter and multi-strap looks, which are the hallmarks of the collection.

There were many show highlights including two attractive sleeveless coats, which included a mid-thigh length, empire-waist lilac sleeveless crinkled coat dress with double collar, rope belt, with elbow to wrist sleeves, and a printed sleeveless crinkled coat dress with rope belt. Also of interest was an attractive crinkled linen coat.

A few of the dress highlights of the Spring 2014 Collection included a low-cut, shimmery and sexy, embroidered dress with ruffles, a hand-print silk taffeta dress with chiffon ruffles, embroidered tank dress with ruffles, and a printed silk multicolor panel dress.

Leather is featured throughout the collection in leather dresses, shorts, and pants. A few of the leather highlights included a pleated patchwork jacket with pleated leather shorts, a fuchsia leather pleated patchwork dress; a lilac leather dress with lacing; and the last look of the show, a shimmering leather patchwork dress that evoked images of a mermaid wearing sea kelp in the way the leather was draped.
