Designer Alonso Maximo Couture opened the HiTechMODA Productions and JUS10H by Justin Hynes collective show featuring seven Premier Designers at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan, part of New York Fashion Week 2026. The evening show included Alonso Maximo Couture, Victoria Amerson, Marc Defang, Suave Suits by Wajahat Mirza, Karen Gold, Paaie, and Special Guest Designer JUS10H by Justin Hayes. On Friday, February 13, 2026, we attended the HiTechMODA Productions and JUS10H Justin Hynes collective show at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan, part of New York Fashion Week 2026. Twice per year, in February and September, designers come to New York to show their new collections during Fashion Week, and the designs, the energy, and the excitement at the shows are something not to be missed. We bring you the experience of being at the Alonso Maximo Couture – Morelia show and seeing the models walk the runway.
Alonso Maximo Couture
Wallingford, Connecticut Designer Alonso Maximo presented his Alonso Maximo Couture – Morelia collection at the show that began with a stunning strapless ivory satin ballgown, which had a sumptuous full skirt, corseted back, and a long train. It is interesting to note that the front of the bodice came to a high point for a unique and very pretty strapless look.
The next look shown was a black tea-length vision with its ultra-feminine look with floral embroidery in pinks, fuchsias, and greens on the bodice, waistline, and along the hemline. Black illusion filled the Vee on the bodice, and a double ruffle black shawl collar that sat high on the shoulder for added drama and appeal. The U-shaped back featured Alonso’s signature corset enclosure, and a ruffled peplum that made the dress another stunning standout in the collection.
Alonso’s color palette for the next look was vibrant, bold, youthful, and fun. His strapless fuchsia jumpsuit featured multicolored inserts on the bustier and along the side panels of the jumpsuit’s legs. Adding to the drama were fuchsia and royal purple cape-like sleeves that started mid-bicep and trailed to the floor.
The collection continued with a head-turner of a gorgeous gown, a lipstick red strapless ballgown, which featured a bead encrusted bodice and beadwork along the dropped waist on the front of the gown, a corseted back, a train for drama, and paired it with a ruffled shrug.
He followed that look with an above the knee, cream strapless dress with a U-shaped ribbed bodice, and patterned skirt also in cream. A corseted back and dramatic large bow that covered the entire back of the skirt completed the look.
Next there was a fitted ice blue satin gown, which featured crystal beading along the edge of the high cut strapless bodice, and had a flared mermaid skirt and a small train.
Alonso presented another glamorous and over-the-top dramatic gown, which had bracelet length sleeves, an opulent ruffled collar, fitted waist, open back with corseted enclosure, a full skirt, and a small train. This gown would definitely be an “entrance-maker” at any black-tie event.
The collection continued with a midnight blue, slim strapless column gown with beaded bodice, and a draped front split skirt. The next look was a fully beaded fitted slinky gown that shimmered with gold and crystal beadwork in an art deco style throughout this stunning design.
Mexican model Emily C. Alvarez presented the final gown in the inspired and stunning collection, which was a dramatic pristine white off the shoulder gown with crystal beadwork placed vertically on the ruffled sleeves. The full skirted belle-of-the-ball ballgown featured “Morelia,” a schnauzer who was the inspiration behind the collection, and his image was imprinted on the white satin skirt along with colorful cultural symbols, which graced the bodice and also the full skirt. Alonso Maximo’s vibrantly bold palette adorned this beautiful and dramatic gown and train and was the perfect culmination of the collection. Alonso’s attention to detail throughout, as well as his inspired, yet very wearable designs, made his new collection such a joy to experience.
