The Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández delivered a spectacular sold-out performance at the Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Founded in 1952 by choreographer and dancer Amalia Hernández, the celebrated company and cultural treasure of Mexico celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2022 where their focus is on tradition, culture, music, and dance. Bravo!

The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut focuses on bringing exceptional performances to its stage, and the performance by CIRCA a prestigious contemporary performance company based in Brisbane, Australia, was another stellar example of their dedication to the arts. CIRCA performed Humans 2.0, which they describe as a "love letter to humanity" and we describe as amazingly brilliant! Bravo!

The 2022 season at the Music Theatre of Connecticut in Norwalk, Connecticut was off to a great start with the play, The Mountaintop about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Starring Chaz Rose as the dynamic Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Shavonna Banks as Camae, the duo fully do justice to the powerful play written by Katori Hall and directed by Gayle Samuels.
