The Greenwich Concours d’Elegance was an exciting day of exceptional cars and motorcycles presented by HAGERTY in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Connecticut overlooking Long Island Sound. After a day of rain for the first day of the Greenwich Concours, attendees were rewarded with a beautiful sunny day. Here are some of the fabulous and very interesting highlights from the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance 2025.
We attended both days of the Greenwich Concours held on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, June 1, 2025. These show highlights are from day two, June 1, 2025, of the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance. There were many exceptional cars at the show, and this was only a handful of the many cars presented. We have grouped the entries by their respective class beginning with a 1910 in the Horseless Carriage Glidden Tour Reunion and close our highlights with a 2019 entered in the Supercars class.

Fast From The Past – Motorcycles
1968 Maurice J. Candy One-off TT Racing Sidecar presented by Team Obsolete. The engine was entirely designed and built from scratch by Maurice Candy. It is one of a kind and was raced in the Isle of Mann six times through 1973 and never suffered a DNF at the world-famous race. The motorcycle proudly bears its race number: 14x and lists the team as Team Obsolete and the pilots as Candy, Dupont, Hoffman, and Fisher. Speaking with Danny Guerra, he explained that about the sidecar setup where the passenger (called a “monkey”) would throw his weight from side to side to assist the driver. We watched a video, and this is one “adventure” that we will take a pass on experiencing.

1971 Norton Production Racer presented by Danny Guerra. Built at Thruxton Circuit’s Norton Villers Performance Centre from 1970-72, mostly by Peter Inchley. Its first major victory was set at the 1970 Thruxton 500 with Peter Williams and Charlie Sanby taking turns. Speaking with Danny, he noted that there were only 101 of these racing motorcycles built, and that it could reach a speed of 150 mph. This Norton is number 101 and only has 49 miles on it. This fabulous “bike” took home a blue ribbon for “Best in Class.” Danny also races motorcycles, racing a Ducati!
