Cognac and Armagnac, Understanding the Nuances of the Spirits
Presented by Debra C. Argen and Edward F. Nesta
Discover the sophisticated world of Cognac and Armagnac, with an introduction to the classification of brandy. Attendees will learn about the subtleties of the three designated regions of brandy (Jerez, Cognac, and Armagnac) through nosing, sampling, and comparing the products, as well as sample cocktails made with Gran Duque De Alba, B&B Liqueur, Hine Cognac, and Castarede Armagnac.
In addition, attendees are in for a special treat of sampling flights of Hine Cognac: H by Hine, Rare VSOP, and Antique XO, as well as flights from Castarede Armagnac the oldest French House of Armagnac: White, VSOP, and Vintage.
This is an interactive seminar and attendees will have the opportunity to try their hand at mixology by shaking up a cocktail or two, and there will be great goody bags.

Tales of the Cocktail also has interesting Spirits Pairing Dinners, aptly called, Spirited Dinners with Guest Bar Chefs. Debra and Edward will be the Guest Bar Chefs at the restaurant Ralph's on the Park where they have paired each course of Chef Haley Gabel's special menu with a complementing cocktail.
