Now add year-round atrium and outdoor pools and whirlpools, a Cardio-Fitness Center, Laconian Relaxation Lounge, Nature Experiential Shower, Brine Inhalation-Light Therapy Lounge, Steam and Sauna rooms, Tea Lounges, a Salon, and much more, and you have a world-class Spa experience. Couples Massage Suite
We experienced Spa Atlantis during our stay at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in late July 2019, and having experienced world-class Spas around the world, we were very impressed with Spa Atlantis. The staff beginning with Spa Manager, Trisha Viser, and continuing with her well-trained team, were knowledgeable, professional, and ensured that the guest experience was most memorable.
The diverse Spa menu includes a variety of Facials, Massages, Skin Care, Body Wraps, Spa Body Scrubs, and Specialty Treatments including Shirodhara and Panti Luar, to name two of the exotic treatments offered. For guests wishing to experience something very special, the Spa has The Rasul Ceremonial Chamber, where they offer the Terra Sigillata Rasul Ceremony, and the Bali Paradise Signature Ceremony, and there a wide variety of Couples Experiences.
Cedar Steam Room
With so much to experience, we arrived early to fully experience all that the Spa had to offer. After being given a tour of the Spa to acclimate ourselves, we partook of the sauna and herbal steam rooms, followed by a session in the Laconian Relaxation Room with its curved tiled seating that radiated warmth as did the floor, so that guests can fully relax in the warm and relaxing ambience. Next, we experienced the Brine Inhalation-Light Therapy Lounge, where we relaxed in the dimly lit room where light therapy soothed while the salt covered wall helped ease breathing with brine inhalation. Complete with chaise lounges, warm tiled curved seating, and soft blankets available, it was easy to see why so many guests will opt take a short nap there before or after their treatments.
Couples Massage
For our Spa treatment, we opted for the Couples Massage with Swedish Massage to work out the knots in our backs and shoulder muscles and release tension, which was 60-minutes of pure indulgence. Combined with essential oils and aroma therapy, it was the perfect treatment as a foil to jetlag.
Ice-cold Cucumber slices
After our massages, we experienced the Aqua Spa Lounge, where we experienced their two whirlpools, each set at a different temperature followed by a plunge in their cold immersion pool set at a chilly 68 degrees Fahrenheit. We continued by resting on lounge chairs with cool towels and ice-cold cucumber slices over our eyes. With the sound the waterfalls as the backdrop, we easily drifted off to sleep for a few minutes, waking feeling thoroughly refreshed.
Aqua Spa Lounge
The Spa has well-equipped locker rooms with a plethora of amenities including June Jacobs Spa Collection toiletries, as well as body scrubs, shampoo and conditioner, hair gels, hair dryers, hair straighteners, and curling irons, hair brushes and more. The Tea Lounge has teas, infused water, fresh fruit and small snacks to enjoy pre or post-treatment.
It is especially important to stay hydrated during your Spa experience and Spa Atlantis has various infused water combinations that complement the different treatments located throughout the Spa. One of their specialty waters is their Kiwi Cinnamon Water, which the Spa graciously shares to provide a delectable "sip" of their spa experience.
"Kiwi, cinnamon, and honey are all known for their respiratory healing properties. Robust, yet still light and fruity, this water coupled with the properties of the Brine Inhalation -Light Therapy treatment will help you breathe easier."

Method: In a dry, small saucepan lightly toast the cinnamon stickson medium heat for 1-minute and place at the bottom of the container. Pour honey on top. Carefully stack the kiwis, facing out, at the bottom of the jar. Pour the room temperature water on top, stirring gently.
Spa Atlantis is located on the 3rd floor. The Spa is open from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm. The Salon is open from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm. The Retail Store is open 8:00 am until 9:00 pm. The Fitness Center is open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm. The Pools are open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm.

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa isconveniently located minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and offers complimentary airport shuttle for all hotel guests. The Atlantis shuttle runs from 4:30 am until 12:15 am. The shuttle departs the airport every 30 minutes, on the quarter hour, and can be found directly outside baggage claim.
