Delta Wires - Born In Oakland is a Blues treat right out of the box with trombones, saxophones, and trumpets blazing away. Add in some fine harmonica by bandleader, Ernie Pinata, some saucy lyrics, and you have a modern Blues album worth giving many a listen. The 7-piece band, Delta Wires: Ernie Pinata, Tom Gerrits, Richard Healy, Tony Huszar, Gerry Jonutz, David Bowman, and John Christensen may be "Born in Oakland" but they have their hearts firmly planted in the Delta Blues.
