Boru Vodka will bring you the Luck of the Irish Without Having to Find a Leprechaun.
The Irish have long been celebrated and praised for introducing the rest of the world to their Irish whiskey and Guinness Stout, and now there is cause for yet another celebration – they have jumped into the vodka market! Boru Vodka, (www.castlebrandsinc.com), a super-premium vodka, is the original vodka made in Ireland, and is the only Irish vodka in the United States.
Boru Vodka, named after the first High King of Ireland, Brian Boru, Boru Vodka carries a regal bearing in its distinctive bottle. Boru Vodka is a grain vodka made from Irish spring water, and quadruple filtered through 10 feet of Atlantic Irish oak charcoal, it comes in clear, and as well as three flavors. Boru Vodka has an international feel and taste with its Boru Orange Flavored Vodka made with Valencia oranges from Spain, the Boru Citrus Flavored Vodka, made from lemons from Sicily, and Boru Crazzberry Vodka made from Scottish raspberries and Maryland cranberries, each producing delicious results. In addition, they have the original Boru Vodka to tantalize your senses, tastebuds, and cocktail recipes.
I first sampled all of the Boru Vodkas chilled in the freezer and drunk neat, and I am pleased to report that the Boru Vodka had a clean, clear, smooth taste. The Boru Orange Flavored Vodka had a pleasing orange aroma, and a distinctive orange flavor on the palate. The Boru Citrus Flavored Vodka had a ripe lemony nose, and fresh citrus flavor. The Boru Crazzberry Vodka had a very fragrant nose of raspberries, and a rich taste of raspberries and cranberries, and was my favorite of the vodkas, although they were all worthy contenders. The Boru Vodkas also made great cocktails, which I discovered by experimenting and adding the different Boru Flavored Vodkas to a variety of cocktails. The Boru Citrus Flavored Vodka made an especially tasty Bloody Mary, which I enjoyed with friends at a Brunch.
Luxury Experience Magazine Readers that read my article “Cocktails in the Country” (in the Liquor Cabinet section) know that I like to create cocktails. In celebration of the Boru Vodka family of flavors, I have created the “Boru Trinity Temptation”, a delectable libation which should tempt your senses, and is perfect to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day or anytime! Should you happen to see a Leprechaun, be sure and tempt him with a Boru Trinity Temptation, and perhaps he will lead you to his pot of gold!
