Bad Daddy: It’s A Mad Mad Bad Dad World was produced by Paul Waring and Pete Galanis and released on the PieHole Records label.

Paul Waring is the man behind Bad Daddy Blues Rock, and while this talented singer/songwriter is a fabulous guitarist, he is also a renowned yacht designer in Maine. His creativity knows no bounds, as evidenced on his latest release, Bad Daddy: It’s A Mad Mad Bad Dad World where he wrote 8 out of the 10 songs on the release, co-wrote one more Left Me With The Blues with Tony "T-Bone" Nedik, and did a sensational cover of the Mighty Sam McClain’s song, Where You Been So Long.

Paul notes of his release, "The process of making this record was one part voodoo and one part experimentation, but exactly what I’d hoped – an honest collaboration. I feel like these songs are a reflection of my soul and my message is captured in every one of these tracks."

The release opens with the track, Blues At Home, and the release is straight out of the box fabulous with a kicking hard pace of excellence. Next in the playlist is Just My Luck where wailing guitars add punch to the intro on this slow and sultry song, where the lyrics lament "…I want to be your lover, don’t leave me alone…" Left Me With The Blues is Chicago Jump Blues at its best where Elton Jaan keeps things jumping layering in the Hammond organ.

The release continues with Blue On You, which shines with its long guitar interludes that make this song a standout, followed by Pork Pie Hat where Andrea Miologos and Bree Gordon add background vocals. Slowing the pace, Paul Waring and Pete Galanis laydown fabulous guitarwork on The Blues I Can Use. The band shifts up-tempo on These Times followed by This Mother’s A Miracle, and Trip On Your Love, which showcases the musicians artistry with impressive instrumentals. The release closes with their stunning cover of the Mighty Sam McClain song Where You Been So Long.

Until next time, keep enjoying the music!
