| I had the opportunity to watch Adam Richman in action at the stove during the 2018 Greenwich WINE + FOOD Festival presented by Serendipity located at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Connecticut. Always irreverent, and downright funny, Adam Richman, whom many in the audience knew from his former television show, Man vs. Food, created Garlic Shrimp and Honeydew Siracha Salsa Tacos while delivering one-liners with breakneck speed, providing restaurant and travel tips, and answering questions from the audience. Adam Richman is definitely a funny man who knows how to cook!

Advance Prep: Directions for Garlic Oil: mash and rough chop 4-6 cloves of garlic add to olive oil let it sit for 30 minutes or even overnight. Set aside.
Small cube honeydew, place it in a bowl, add siracha to the honeydew (to cover or as much as you want), and gently stir to not break up the honeydew.
Chef Tip: Place the honeydew siracha mixture in a plastic Ziplock bag zipping both sides to the middle. Insert a plastic straw in the opening and stuck out the air. Remove straw and seal bag. Place bag in the refrigerator overnight to marinate the flavors.
Basic Pico de Gallo: Chop tomatoes, jalapenos, garlic, onion, cilantro, and lime juice. It's a simple salsa and the longer you let it sit the better
Chef Tip: Remove seeds from tomatoes (to prevent soggy tomatoes), use only the fleshy part of the tomato so the salsa does not get watery.
Honeydew Salsa: Gently fold in the Pico de Gallo into the Siracha infused Honeydew, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes before using.
Chef Grilling Tip: Soak wooden skewers in water for at least an hour before using. Thread shrimp on the skewers, brush the shrimp with infused garlic oil.
Chef Tip: Heat pan first before adding your oil. Heat pan then place your skewers in the pan. Cook 2-3 minutes perside.
Plating: Brush flour tortilla with garlic oil, place in hot pan to char it a bit, add a small amount of shredded lettuce, garlic shrimp, and honeydew siracha. There you have it, Garlic Shrimp and Honeydew Siracha Salsa Tacos.
Chef Tip: Garnish with sunflower seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds or charcoal, as they are all good for digestion and act as a topping.
