Ladies, get ready to go shopping as Luxury Experience Magazine proudly presents a preview of Women's Fall Fashions 2007 from Venexiana, Joanna Mastroianni, LACOSTE, and Chris Han straight from the runways at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
More than 90 designers exhibited their Fall 2007 collections during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week under the tents at Bryant Park from February 2 -9, 2007, and at off-site venues located throughout New York, each designer looking to attract the attention of the darlings of the world to start stocking their wardrobes early for the Fall 2007 and Winter 2008 season.
Luxury Experience Magazine braved the extremely cold temperatures of New York, which somehow seemed perfect considering it was the Fall 2007 and Winter 2008 collections, to see the latest collections from the hottest designers. We bring you a few of the many highlights from the Fall 2007 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week collections.
Designer Kati Stern of Venexiana made her New York fashion show debut with her Spring/Summer 2004 collection, and has continued to attract attention at each of her subsequent shows with her creativity.
Her Fall 2007 collection showed 49 looks with a clear nod to the days of elegant, flirty, feminine, old-style Hollywood glamour. The collection featured softly draped sensuous fabrics, thoughtful attention to detail, and gowns that sparkled with extravagant beading and Swarovski crystals adding elegance.

Luxurious chiffon, velvet, organza, and satin fabrics are prominently featured with colors of blush, grey, cream and chocolate as the mainstays of the collection palate. Sumptuous coats in chocolate leather, shearling, raccoon, mink, and fox round out her collection. Look for wide belts and wide collars on coats accessorized with large button details.
Designer Joanna Mastroianni whose motto is "Fashion is meant to be fun," launched her signature collection 15 years ago. She said that "The work of jewelers Castelani and Giulliano have inspired my fall 2007 collection, especially a Byzantine cross with extraordinary detailing and colors."
Joanna presented 39 looks in her Fall 2007 collection with a color palate of black, mocha, garnet, copper, pewter, and cognac, in iridescent and metallic fabrics, with inspired embroidery. A few pieces from her collection include a plunging black matte jersey cocktail dress with lace sleeve; Cardinal red gown; black/copper silk faille halter gown; and hand beaded column gown with silk faille diva coat.

LACOSTE designer, Christophe Lemaire looked to 70s chic and focused on "Le Weekend" in the French countryside for a sporty chic look, with a combined men and women's show.
For his women's Fall 2007 collection, his models strolled through colorful autumn leaves wearing soft striped knit twin sweater sets, hats, and scarves. Look for kimono coats, rubberized raincoats, oversized collars and padded jackets for this season. Spotted among the fashionable crowd in the attendance for the LACOSTE show were Juliana Moore and Carson Kressley (Bravo television Queer Eye for the Straight Eye show).
