|Tenth Street Hats are "designer hats, made the old way, sold the new way" and is where fashion and function blend seamlessly. Founded in California in 1921 by Jack Dorfman and Arthur Hyman, the company remains loyal to providing their clientele with high-quality products in a variety of styles. With the growing concern for premature skin damage due to the sun and the rising number of cases of skin cancer and melanoma reported each year, there has never been more of a need to take care of your skin while looking fashionable.

I love wearing hats as they are the perfect accessory to set a tone and create your image, whether it be fashionably sophisticated, sexy, carefree, casual, playful, or formal, and of course, they help protect your face from sun damage, something that we all should take to heart.
I recently "discovered" Tenth Street Hats and fell in love with their high-quality and diverse selection of styles perfect for men and women to create their own fashion style. With 8 different designers - Aegean (Athens, San Francisco), Biltmore - Made in USA, Brooklyn Hat Company, John Callanan, Santana by Carlos Santana, Scala, Stacy Adams established in 1875, and Stetson Cloth Hats & Caps, you can find your perfect look no matter what your style.
Hats for Women
For women they offer hats in the following shapes: Fedora, Fisherman, Round Crown, Boater, and Safari. Types include: Sun, Floppy, Captain, Wide Brim, Dress, Crushable, Sailor, and Big Head. When I selected a new hat to add to my hat wardrobe, I looked for a hat that could be worn for a variety of occasions and found the York Beach from the Brooklyn collection to be the perfect choice for me. This stunning made in the USA, black and natural two-tone hat, was handwoven with Ecuadorian Panama, featured a 4-inch brim for fashion and sun protection, and was accessorized with a black grosgrain band. What I especially loved about the hat was its versatility in that it was elegant enough to wear for dress, yet equally at home stylishly worn while exploring a new city, going to the beach, or relaxing poolside at a resort. Price: $150.
Hats for Men
For men, they offer hats in the following shapes: Fedora, Pork Pie, Bowler, Newsboy Cap, Ivy Cap, Boater, Homburg, Safari, and Fisherman. Types include Wide Brim, Flat Cap, Dress, Captain, Crushable, Sailor, and Big Head. Designed for various seasons, materials vary from panama, straw, felt, wool, leather, and raffia. You can also browse hats by Occasion: Kentucky Derby, Beach, Church, Sun Protection, Wedding, Music Festival, and Easter.
Edward selected the Montreal designed by Biltmore, which was a different, but great look for him. Made in the USA from grade-12 Ecuadorian panama, his stylish hat featured a 2-inch brim, accessorized with a jaunty wide chocolate ribbon, and a discrete leather sweatband. Price: $280.
Care and Protection of your Hat
To keep your Tenth Street Hat looking its best, they recommend storing it upside down on the crown, and spot clean only (do not wash).
As always, remember that when it comes to fashion, it is not only about what you wear, it is also about how you wear it! Know your own style and have a fashionable season!
