Designers Cho Cheng of Chocheng, Alexander Terexov of Terexov, and Matthew Williamson show a touch of playfulness for their collections for Fall and Winter 2009 during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
For Fall and Winter 2009 Designer Cho Cheng of Chocheng envisioned "The Little Prince" as the inspiration for his 35 look collection setting the theme with his models parading the runway wearing platinum blonde page boy wigs.

His debut collection at the Mercedes-Benz Salon, featured a color palate of a combination of neutrals in ivory, salt, charcoal, pepper, black, navy, ink blue, and midnight blue, and added a punch of vibrant color with bubblegum pink, cotton candy, cherry, turquoise, key lime, sage, Wedgwood blue, aubergine, violet, canary yellow, red, sage, and gold.
Although mini-skirts and mini-dresses featured heavily in the collection, he also showed longer lengths; his jackets featured single button, 2 button, 3 button, and 5 button, with back pleats and other stylish details; there were asymmetrical looks, beading, sequins and bow details on gowns, collars, and even on cropped pants.
A few of the highlights from his collection included a Canary Yellow Tweed Riding Jacket with Black Velveteen Collar paired with Black Velveteen Mini Skirt and Ivory Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater; Bubblegum Pink Harris Tweed 5 Button Jacket with Ivory Satin Ruffle on Collar and Cuff paired with a Bubblegum Pink Harris Tweed Pencil Skirt; Rose Pink Silk Faille Mini Sheath with Bracelet Length Sleeves and Bow Collar; Wedgwood Blue Velveteen 2 Button Jacket with Navy Satin Zigzag Piping paired with Wedgwood Blue Velveteen Pencil Skirt with Navy Satin Piping and Navy Satin Blouse with Mandarin Collar; and Red Sequined Siren Gown with One Sleeve.

Designer Alexander Terexov of Terexov showed 40 looks for his Fall Winter 2009 collection that featured playful 1940s art deco cityscape prints, furs, sequins, and clean lines for an understated sophisticated elegance. He used a color palette of white, champagne, latte, gray, chocolate, and black punctuated with yellow, teal, turquoise, blue, and gold, with sensuous fabrics of silk, chiffon, wool cashmere, suede, leather, wool crepe, and velvet.
A few of the show highlights included his Double Breasted Wool Cashmere Coat with Mink Shawl Collar paired with Black Wool and Cashmere Peg Leg Pant; Yellow Leather Dress with Yellow Leather Belt and Silk Chiffon Lining; and Latte Georgette Dress with Black Sequined Detail and Silk Lined.

Other highlights included his Art Deco Night Cityscape Print Silk Sleeveless Goddess Dress; Turquoise Silk Chiffon Dress with White Bird Appliqué and Black Belt; and Black Silk Treated Chiffon Dress with White Paneled Mink Coat.

Designer Matthew Williamson showed 39 looks that featured fur, leather, cashmere, wool, velvet, satin, silk, jacquard, and jersey fabrics for his Fall and Winter 2009 Collection, with Zig-Zag weaves, beading, sequins, graphic and Spirograph prints figured prominently.

He showed a certain playfulness with his colorful Spirograph prints reminiscent of childhood memories for his Spirograph Print Blouse and Leather Skirt; Spirograph Print Ruffle Skirt with Cashmere Poloneck and Belted Wool Jacket; Spirograph Full Length Ruffle Dress; and Spirograph Mini Ruffle Dress.

For trouser looks, he paired Leather Trousers with a Sequin Opera Jacket and Silk Vest; a Fur Stole over Leather Trousers paired with a Silk Shirt; an Ombre Wool Jacket over Wool Trousers with Fur Stole; and a Fur Coat over Zig-Zag T-Shirt with Satin Draped Trousers.
A few of his dress looks included a Printed Kimono Dress; Graphic Floral Print Jersey Column Dress; Satin Cocktail Dress; Sequined Tunic Dress; Metal Jacquard Mini Dress; and Sequined Full Length Column Dress. Celebrities spotted at his show included Eva Longaria-Parker, Nicky Hilton, and Paris Hilton.
