For Spring-Summer, Kati Stern is showing halter gowns, strapless gowns, one-shoulder gowns, sweetheart necklines, shawl collars, and sultry floral prints. A few of the show highlights, and there were many, included a dusty blue tulle and appliquéd lace grand ball gown, and a shimmering silver paillette evening gown that conjured an image of the tiny mirrors on a disco ball. Details included ruching and goddess pleats, fabric roses placed on shoulders and adding interest on a back strap, and beaded straps on a halter gown. Look for pencil skirts, split evening skirts, high-waisted pants, full pants, one-shoulder and off the shoulder dresses and gowns. Kati Stern puts the glam in glamorous with her Spring-Summer 2009 collection.
